Every judgement in this almanac rests on a number somebody had to sit and take. Here are the numbers.
Two datasets, each with a page that describes it and a CSV that downloads it. Both files are read from the same database the site renders from, at the moment you ask for them, so they cannot lag the pages. Both are released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: use them, cite them, build on them, and credit Micah Boswell and Pen Paper & Ink with a link back.
Dataset I
Fountain pen ink dry times by nib width, measured (Pen Paper & Ink dataset)
Measured dry times for fountain pen ink on paper, recorded by Micah Boswell for the Pen Paper & Ink almanac. Each timed paper in the archive carries the seconds until a written line no longer smudges, per nib width (extra-fine, fine, medium and broad), and each timed ink carries the same figures on the almanac's standard sheet. A third group of rows holds bench-timed triples: published pairings where a specific pen, paper and ink were timed together, with a single dry time for that combination. One row per paper, ink or pairing, with the kind of record, the specimen identifier, the name, the variant where one exists, and the URL of its page on the site. The same rows render as the reference table at /dry-time, in English and Japanese, and download as CSV. Every figure is read from the almanac's database at request time, so the file never lags the site, and a blank cell means that width has not been timed, never an estimate.
Ten columns: kind, id, name, variant, dry time in seconds for extra-fine, fine, medium and broad nibs, the bench-timed pairing dry time, and the page URL.
Dataset II
Fountain pen, paper and ink specimen catalogue (Pen Paper & Ink dataset)
The full specimen catalogue of the Pen Paper & Ink almanac: every published fountain pen, paper and ink in the curated archive, one row per specimen, as researched, measured and scored by Micah Boswell. Pens carry nib size, nib material, flex, filling system, flow, capped length, capped weight, grip diameter, smoothness and wetness. Papers carry grammage, pulp source, tooth, sizing, tone and measured colour, the almanac's 1 to 5 grades for feathering, bleed-through, show-through, sheen and shading, and the medium-nib dry time. Inks carry family, hue family, warmth, colour, pH, water resistance, lightfastness, saturation, wetness, the same 1 to 5 behaviour grades, and the base and medium-nib dry times. Every row also carries the archive number, brand, model, variant, country of origin, year introduced, production status, price tier, US list price where recorded, the date the record last changed, and the URL of the specimen's page. A blank cell means the field does not apply to that kind of specimen or has not been recorded. The file is read from the almanac's database at request time. The long-tail catalogue rows kept for browsing on the site are not included; only curated specimens are.
Forty-three columns, one row per specimen. Pens, papers and inks share the identity columns; the measured columns are filled for the kinds they apply to and left blank otherwise.

データセット I
万年筆インクの乾燥時間、ペン先の太さ別の実測データセット（Pen Paper & Ink）
万年筆インクの乾燥時間の実測データ。Pen Paper & Ink 年鑑のために Micah Boswell が計測した。書庫の紙ごとに、書いた線に触れても汚れなくなるまでの秒数をペン先の太さ別（極細・細字・中字・太字）に記録し、インクごとに標準紙の上で同じ計測を行い、さらに特定のペン・紙・インクを同時に計った公開ペアリングの実測値を加えた。紙・インク・ペアリングごとに一行で、種別、識別子、名称、バリアント、掲載ページのURLを持つ。同じ行が /dry-time の参照表として英語と日本語で表示され、CSVとして取得できる。数値はすべてリクエスト時に年鑑のデータベースから読み出すため、ファイルがサイトより古くなることはない。空欄は未計測を意味し、推定値は載せない。
列は十。種別、識別子、名称、バリアント、極細・細字・中字・太字それぞれの乾燥秒数、組み合わせの実測秒数、掲載ページのURL。
データセット II
万年筆・紙・インクの標本目録（Pen Paper & Ink データセット）
Pen Paper & Ink 年鑑の標本目録の全体。編纂された書庫にある公開済みの万年筆・紙・インクを、標本ごとに一行で収める。調査、計測、採点はすべて Micah Boswell による。ペンはペン先の太さ、材質、しなり、吸入方式、フロー、キャップ付きの長さと重さ、グリップ径、滑らかさ、ウェットネスを持つ。紙は坪量、パルプ、歯ざわり、サイジング、色調と実測色、にじみ・裏抜け・裏写り・シーン・シェーディングの5段階評価、中字の乾燥時間を持つ。インクは系統、色相、温かみ、色、pH、耐水性、耐光性、彩度、ウェットネス、同じ5段階評価、基準および中字の乾燥時間を持つ。すべての行に書庫番号、ブランド、モデル、バリアント、原産国、発売年、生産状況、価格帯、米国定価（記録があるもの）、最終更新日、掲載ページのURLが付く。空欄はその種別に該当しないか未記録を意味する。ファイルはリクエスト時に年鑑のデータベースから読み出す。閲覧用のロングテール目録は含まず、編纂済みの標本のみを収める。
列は四十三、標本ごとに一行。ペン・紙・インクは識別の列を共有し、計測の列は該当する種別にだけ値が入り、それ以外は空欄になる。
